For Oscar, Our Beloved Dachshund

On behalf of our beloved miniature dachshund Oscar who without the doctors and staff at BluePearl Veterinary Partners (formerly Florida Veterinary Specialists) in Tampa would not be with us today.

Oscar spent two weeks at the Tampa Acute care facility in December 2012 recovering from major Gastrointestinal surgery when unbeknownst to us had inadvertently swallowed an acorn blocking his GI tract. Oscar was released on December 24th and thus was home in time for Christmas!!

In honor of your marriage, we donated to Frankie’s Friends.

Blue Pearl Speciality Vet in Overland Park performed Jack’s emergency back surgery.
He’s doing great and walking again. We wanted to make sure other families not able to pay for this kind of critical care might have the oppotunity to save their babies too…

Eleanor - She Made a Full Recovery!

Eleanor Roosevelt DeLaughter is the 2 year old, 4 legged daughter of Christopher and Susan DeLaughter and the 4 legged sister of Kylee Badia. She recently needed her tail amputated due to biting off the bandages. Little did we know that she swallowed the bandages and even the tip of her own tail and she began to fall seriously ill. We took her to BluePearl, and they told us she had a serious intestinal blockage that needed immediate surgery.

But for Frankie's Friends, we would not have afforded the surgery. Eleanor made a full recovery and is her happy playful loving self! We wanted to donate to Frankie's Friends as a thank you for letting us keep our little girl for the rest of her full and fun life!

Jake, a Beloved Dog

My beloved dog Jake is currently undergoing chemotherapy at the Blue Pearl in Ga. I am so lucky to be able to do this for him, otherwise, he would not be sleeping happily in the chair beside me. It breaks my heart to think of those who cannot provide this level of care of their pets. Dr. Hamilton and the team at GVS have provided me with a miracle hopefully this gift will do the same for another family.
